David Peters enlisted at Liverpool, N.S.W. Serving with the 3rd Infantry Battalion A.I.F., he embarked from Sydney aboard H.M.A.T. Seang Choon on 11 February 1915. Private Peters died of wounds at Gallipoli on 11 June 1915 and was buried in the Beach Cemetery, Gallipoli. He was the brother of Mr J. Peters of 115 Richards Street, Cathays, Cardiff.
