Of Haitian interest, as included in the names is that of [François-Dominique] Toussaint Louverture (1743-1803), leader of the Haitian revolution, the first successful revolution by a slave population in the Americas. The other names are Penn, Granville Sharp, Wilberforce, Benezet, and Stephen D. Barclay
