Prince of Wales Visit To India 1875-6, a most attractive struck silver medal, oval, 61mm by 55mm, obverse centre with bust of Prince Albert surrounded by a wreath, the reverse with Prince of Wales feathers to centre, surrounded by Royal Garter, and inscribed ‘H.R.H. Albert Edward Prince of Wales, India 1875-6’, the edge engraved ‘Nawab Saiad Mir Khan, No.60., Sirdar Bahadur’, this medal should be surmounted by a crown, which is lacking from this example, otherwise good very fine £80-120
