Leonel ‘Bebito’ Smith (1909-2000), Cuban swimmer and winner of three gold medals and one silver medal at the Second Central American and Caribbean Games and winner of three gold medals at the first Games held in Mexico in 1926. An accident forced him to retire from competitive swimming in 1930, however he continued to be a swimming coach
