William IV (1830-1837), Proof set, 1831, comprising gold Two-Pounds, Sovereign and Half-Sovereign, silver Crown, Halfcrown, Shilling, Sixpence and Maundy set; together with currency Penny, Halfpenny and Farthing, in contemporary fitted leather case [14]. The gold with several surface marks and edge bumps, but brilliant, silver with matching dark tone, generally extremely fine, copper very fine or better (£12,000-14,000)
