Private Joseph Oliver Thompson, of the 172nd (Rocky Mountain Rangers) Battalion, died of suppurative peritonitis on 1 April 1918, aged 22 years, and was buried in the Vancouver (Mountain View) Cemetery; sold with copied service papers.

Private John Stroud, of the 38th (Ottawa) Battalion, was wounded in action on 15 June 1917 in a trench raid south of Lens, taking shrapnel wounds to the left hand. Having then made a recovery, he died of disease on 26 July 1918, and was buried in Hampton Hill (St. James) Churchyard; sold with copied service papers.
