Able Seaman William Edward Hughes, Hood Battalion R.N. Division, was killed in action on 23 April 1917. His name is commemorated on the Arras Memorial. He was the son of Mrs M. A. Hughes, of 69 Back Street, Felling-on-Tyne, Co. Durham.
Able Seaman J. M. Ormston, Hood Battalion R.N. Division, was killed/ died on 6 May 1915. His name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial.
