Charles I (1625-1649), Exeter mint, Halfcrown, Gp III, undated, mm. rose, sash tied in bow, rev. oval scroll-garnished shield, pellets around, 14.57g/3h (Bull 660/14; Besly J14; SCBI Brooker 1027, same obv. die; N 2550/1; S 3065). Slightly weak in places, otherwise good very fine or better and much as struck, old cabinet toning £700-900
