Felix Knight was born in the Parish of Ashurst, near Steyning, Sussex, and attested for the 6th Dragoon Guards at Brighton on 11 April 1838, aged 18. He served overseas in the Crimea and Turkey for 10 months, and in the East Indies for 4 years 8 months. He was discharged having completed twenty-six years service on 19 October 1864. Sold with copy discharge papers.
