Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Sceatta, Primary series E, ‘Æethilired’ variety, porcupine-like figure enclosing four bars, rev. runic inscription in two lines, 1.06g/10h (Blackburn and Bonser, BNJ 1986, p.85; M 134-5; N 155; S 780). Reverse slightly off-centre, otherwise better than very fine, very rare £450-550
