Donald William Greenham was born in St. Helens, Isle of Wight, lived at Southsea and enlisted at Andover, Hampshire. Serving in the 5th Battalion Dorsetshire Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 28 March 1918, aged 35 years. He was buried in the Le Philosophe Cemetery, Mazingarbe. He was the son of Robert William Greenham, of Sea View, Isle of Wight and husband of Hilda Amelia Greenham, of 88 St. Andrew’s Road, Southsea, Portsmouth. With original medal forwarding slip to Mrs H. A. Greenham and copied casualty details.
