John Brown was born in Peckham, Surrey and lived in Stockwell. Serving in the Middlesex Regiment, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 14 November 1915. Serving with the 18th Battalion, he was killed in action on 22 June 1916. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
