George Seamour was born in Shoreham, Sussex. A Porter by occupation, he attested for the General Service Cavalry at Brighton on 12 April 1884, aged 19 years, 3 months. Served in the East Indies, September 1892-March 1893; Egypt, March 1893-November 1894; South Africa, November 1899-December 1901. Discharged on 5 November 1903 as medically unfit for further service. With copied service papers.
