Arthur Ottaway was born at Windsor, England, in January 1877, and enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force in Ottawa in August 1914. He had earlier seen service in the 1st Royal Dragoons; sold with copied attestation paper.

William Dinning was born at Maybole, Ayrshire, Scotland, in March 1872, and enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force at Dawson in September 1916, when he was drafted to the Yukon Infantry Company. Subsequently embarked for England, he joined Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry in the France in August 1917, and died of wounds received at Passchendaele at No. 47 Casualty Clearing Station on 17 November. He was 57 years of age and is buried in Dozinghem Military Cemetery, Belgium; sold with copied service papers.

Joseph Alfred Bourdeau was employed as a Glass Worker in Bermuda at the time of volunteering to join the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force in October 1914. He was duly enrolled in the Royal Canadian Regiment at Halifax, Nova Scotia in August 1915; sold with copied attestation paper.
