Stewart Wright was born in Ottawa in October 1887 and enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force in North Bay, Ontario, in February 1917; sold with copied attestation paper.

James Edward Robinson was born in Dublin, Ireland, in February 1885, and enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force in Vancouver, B.C., in May 1918. He had earlier witnessed active service in the Boer War. Robinson was killed in a railway accident in British Columbia in December 1931; sold with copied attestation paper.

Frederick Hooton was born in Yorkshire, England, in September 1894, and, as a member of the 88th Victoria Fusiliers, Active Militia, enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force in Victoria, B.C., in November 1915. He married Margaret Dansey Addis in 1922, shortly after her divorce from Frank Butler, an officer of the British Columbia Horse, and died in Victoria in December 1969; sold with copied attestation paper and other research.

Reginald Gough was born in Manchester, England, in February 1886, and enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force in Winnipeg in January 1916. Embarked for England later in the same year, he served in France as a Sapper in the 3rd Battalion, Canadian Railway Troops, from March 1917 until February 1919, and was demobilised in the rank of Sergeant in May of the latter year. Gough died in December 1938; sold with copied service record.

William Edward Cole was born in Folkestone, Kent, in October 1882, and enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force at Tisdale, Saskatchewan, in June 1916. Embarked for England, he served in France as a Sapper in the 5th Battalion, Canadian Railway Troops, from February to July 1917. Discharged in February 1919, he died in Victoria, B.C., in August 1964; sold with copied service record.

John McAuliffe was born in Hamilton, Ontario in September 1874 and enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force in Winnipeg in January 1916; sold with copied attestation paper.

Henry David Edwin Moody was born in Bembridge, Ireland, and enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force at Vernon, Ontario, in August 1915. He had earlier witnessed active service in the Canadian Mounted Rifles and been awarded the Queen’s South Africa Medal & 6 clasps, and appears to have served in the 9th Battalion, Canadian Infantry, in addition to his time with the Canadian Railway Troops. Moody died in Vancouver, B.C., in July 1957; sold with copied attestation paper and other research.

George Davies was born in Carmarthenshire, Wales, in December 1883, and enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force in Vancouver, B.C., in April 1918; sold with copied attestation paper.

Percy Beer was born in London, England, in April 1882, and enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force in Vancouver, B.C., in March 1917; sold with copied attestation paper.

Alfred Aldridge was born in London, England, in December 1879, and enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force in Vancouver, B.C., in August 1916. He had earlier served in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps. An Engine Room Oiler for Canadian Pacific Railways in later life, he died in Victoria, B.C., in April 1951; sold with copied attestation paper.
