Rifleman David Gorman was born in Newtonards, Belfast. He served in the 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Rifles in Glasgow, 1902-11. Recalled to the 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Rifles in August 1914, he entered France with them on 27 August 1914. On 24 September, the battalion was heavily involved in the battle of the Aisne. Gorman was wounded, suffering a gunshot wound to the right shoulder. He was evacuated to England and discharged on 21 October 1915. With copied details and m.i.c. 

Private George Clarke, 2nd Battalion The Queen’s Regiment, entered France on 4 October 1914. The award of his 1914 Star was originally forfeited due to desertion but was later restored. With copied m.i.c.

Serjeant Christopher W. Eddings, Notts & Derby Regiment, entered France on 25 June 1915. Attaining the rank of Warrant Officer Class 2, he was disembodied in March 1919. Awarded the T.E.M. and clasp by A.O. 208 of 1926. With copied m.i.c.
