Queen’s Commendation for Valuable Service London Gazette 8 September 2006. ‘... in recognition of gallant and distinguished services in the former Yugoslavia during the period 1st October 2005 to 31st March 2006.’ ‘W0812028 Warrant Officer Class 2 Daphne Brett, Royal Corps of Signals.’
With original award document for the N.A.T.O. Medal and clasp named to Warrant Officer Class 2 D. Brett, Royal Signals, and a copy of the above London Gazette. Two other servicemen were awarded the Queen’s Commendation for Valuable Service for service in Yugoslavia during the same period - both Gurkhas. Information from the recipient states that the award was for ‘Intelligence work’.
