42nd Foot (Black Watch) Portrait Miniature, c. 1808, attributed to William Dudman, a fine quality example (7.5 x 6.5 cm.) on ivory, the subject shown in full dress, scarlet with navy blue facings, single gold lace epaulette and oval gilt shoulder belt belt, contained in a glazed oval silver-gilt case, the reverse panel with folded lock of hair, in good overall condition £800-850
