1914 Star, with copy clasp (13181 Pte. 11th. Hrs.); British War and Victory Medals (13181 Pte., 11th. Hrs.) later issue naming, nearly extremely fine (3) £100-140

Patrick O’Boy enlisted on 20 August 1914. Serving with the 11th Hussars he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 8 October 1914. He was discharged from the 12th Reserve Regiment of Cavalry on 5 July 1915 due to illness and awarded the Silver War Badge (not with lot). With copied roll extract and m.i.c. - the latter indicates that the medals were returned for adjustment and eventually re-issued in 1949. Clasp not confirmed.
