Private Herbert R. Plested, 1st Battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 13 August 1914. Later in the Great War he served in the Royal Air Force.
With copied m.i.c. Additionally sold with a crown coin, 1981, commemorating the wedding of H.R.H. The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer.
