M.S.M. London Gazette 12 December 1919:
‘S/12189 T./S./S.M. Fullbrook, J. (Woodstock) (SOUTH AFRICA) ... in recognition of valuable services rendered in connection with the War’.
Only 25 M.S.Ms. for the South African theatre of war of which 14 were to South African Forces.
John Fullbrook was born on 14 December 1876 and served in the ranks of the A.S.C. for 19 years 194 days. Appointed S.S.M. (S.& T.) on 15 December 1914, he retired on 4 June 1917.
