The 1st Battalion served with 83rd Brigade, 28th Division, in Salonika and Asia Minor from 7th December 1915, until the end of the war. Frederick John Harbird, from Dover, enlisted in May 1904; to be Bandsman in 1st Battalion (India), December 1910.
