CRIMEA 1854-55, 1 clasp, Sebastopol (No. 3014 Corpl. Patrick Scott, 89th Regt.) regimentally impressed naming, nearly very fine
Corporal Patrick Scott was awarded the Al Valore Militare, 'landed with the regiment in the Crimea on the 15th of December, 1854. Never missed a tour of duty in the trenches until after the 5th September, 1855, when he was wounded severely by a piece of shell in the right knee.'
Patrick Scott was the only soldier from the ranks of the 89th Regiment to be awarded this medal.
