Sold with details from 'The Times' of the severe fire which broke out shortly before 4 am. near Soho Square on Friday 2 April 1852. This fire appears to have started in the premises of Benjamin F. Oakey, a Fishmonger, and to have spread rapidly. Six silver medals, nine bronze medals and 10 testimonials were presented by the Lord Mayor in June 1852, but these were not necessarily all for this same fire
