7854 Sergeant Frederick Robert Burton was born in Spalding, Lincolnshire and lived and enlisted at Alfreton, Derby. He was killed in action in Gallipoli on 21 August 1915 whilst serving with the 1st Battalion, Royal Munster Fusiliers.
