Canadian Memorial Cross, G.VI.R. (Sgt. Air Gunner J. C. Kent) in its case of issue, extremely fine

Sergeant Air Gunner Joseph Charles Kent, from Quebec, was killed on 4 June, 1943, aged 21, whilst serving with 26 O.T.U. His pilot of Wellington HE746 was making an emergency landing when he crashed two miles from R.A.F. Station Dumfries. All four crew were killed. He is buried in St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dumfries, Scotland.
