Frank Burns, a Mill worker from Dundee, enlisted in the Gordon Highlanders at Dundee in March 1894. He was dangerously wounded by a gunshot in the left shoulder at the storming of the Dargai Heights, 20 October 1897. In South Africa he was one of fifteen men of the regiment injured by lightning at Belfast on 31 January 1901. Sold with copy service papers and other research.
