France, La Danse, 1912, uniface bronze Art Nouveau medal by H. Dropsy for V.S. Canale, young female dancer to right with bobbed hair and in short classical tunic, 50mm (cf. BDW 1, lot 687); together with a smaller bronze medalet for the same subject, 30mm. [2]. Very fine, second with clip and ring for suspension (£50-60)

The figure on the medal was inspired by the innovative and influential American dancer, Isadora Duncan (1878-1927)
