Belgian Croix de Guerre London Gazette 4 September 1919.

James Worthington served in the ranks with the 2/28th London Regiment (Artist Rifles) from October 1916 to July 1917 before being commissioned into the 7th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers. He was attached to the 17th Battalion when he won his Croix de Guerre. The group is accompanied by his original Officer’s Record of Services and various Demobilisation papers.
