Oudiné, seated figure holding plinth on which are three standing men, reverse legend, named (Congrès de 1921, École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Fondation Destors, Mr. Paul Labbé, Éléve de Mr. G. Redon), 69mm. Minor obverse rim knock at 2 o’clock, otherwise better than very fine; in fitted maroon case of issue (£50-70)
Oudiné’s first medal for the Société, which itself was founded in 1843, appeared in 1848. Gaston Redon was commemorated by a portrait medal issued in 1884
