William I (1066-1087), William I, Two Sceptres type, York, Harthoulf, hardolf on eofr, pellet in first quarter, 1.20gm (Doubleday 883, same obv. die; N. 844; S. 1253). Edge chipped and a tiny perforation, legends somewhat weak but centres very fine and with a good portrait, rare (£180-220)
