This interesting pamphlet, Belfast Museum Publication no.36, was a joint compilation between the Belfast historian and token collector William Mayes, the curator, A. Deane, and the assistant curator, J.A.S. Stendall, who prepared the illustrations. The 494 tokens catalogued in it include the collections formed by the Belfast industrialist Edward Benn (1798-1874) and the Revd. John Grainger (1830-91)
