69th (South Lincolnshire) Regiment Portrait Miniature on Ivory by Frederick Buck, a fine quality example (6.5 x 4.5 cms) on ivory, the subject is shown in full dress scarlet coatee with green facings, single gold lace epaulette and oval gilt and silver shoulder belt plate. The depiction of the numerals both on the shoulder belt plate and on the buttons is rather crude. Contained in a glazed oval gilt frame, very good condition £300-500
