The Rifle Brigade, Officer’s Pouch Belt Plate c1822-1855. A very scarce example in unmarked silver coloured metal, featuring a Guelphic crown over a plinth ‘Waterloo’, laurel sprays enclose a cross of the Order of the Bath, the arms emblazoned with honours, in the centre a circle ‘Rifle Brigade’ this in turn enclosing a crowned strung bugle horn, below the cross a scroll ‘Peninsula’, complete with a brass shaped backing plate, four screw post fasteners, some service wear to the central crown/bugle horn otherwise very fine condition £250-350
