The Queen’s Own Regiment of Worcestershire Yeomanry Other Ranks Helmet c. 1852-70, a fine quality example, the black leather skull with white metal pierced comb and white metal trim to the peaks side areas and at the base, the frontal plate in two parts in white metal, the ornamental section bearing a crowned oval ‘Queen’s Own Regiment’ enclosing the VR cypher, Worcestershire Yeomanry scrolls at the bottom and demi-emergent lion and unicorn are on a ground of laurel sprays, complete with white metal chin chain (lacking lining) and original white over red horse hair plume this with gilt rose finial, quilted linen sweat band, both peaks lined with green skiver, two dents to the left and right of the comb and some buckling to the white metal peak trim otherwise in very good condition for an untouched example
