Leamington College was opened in 1848 as a college for boys, converting into a public school in 1852, but had to close due to financial difficulties in 1865. It reopened as a college in 1867 and remained so until 1903 when it was bought by the Society of the Sacred Heart. Today it is used as the Sixth Form for North Leamington School
