William Langley enlisted into the 62nd Foot at Liverpool on 4 September 1843. He joined the regiment at Ferozepore in March 1845, and participated in the battles of Ferozeshuhur and Sobraon. He died from unknown causes at Ferozepore on 13 April 1846.
