Henry Gammon was born at Marwood, Barnstaple, Devon, on 3 September 1881, and joined the Royal Marines at Deal on 18 September 1899. He enrolled into the Royal Naval Reserve in May 1909, and during the Great War served aboard the cruiser Isis from August 1914 to December 1916. He was discharged on 3 September 1921. Sold with copied record of service.
James Maitland Thomson was born at Aberdeen in 1890. Sold with copied Merchant Navy record card.
