Sold with two Record Office enclosures for the first, addressed to Miss M. A. Brooker, 3 Brading Road, Brighton, the first dated 3 February 1950, and the second 24 February 1950; and a Record Office letter to the recipient, dated 13 February 1950, which states: ‘Madam, Receipt is hereby acknowledged of Efficiency Medal (Territorial) returned by you, in regard to inscription of Rank. I am to inform you that the Medal has been returned to the War Office for correction, and that same will be forwarded you immediately it is returned.’
