The Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Officer‘s (Brother’s) breast badge, silver base metal and enamel; Defence Medal, unnamed; St. John Service Medal, 3 silver clasps (28004C/Off. F. R. Jeffery, No. 5 Dis. S.J.A.B. 1943) silver; mounted as worn; with Silver War Badge (B131103); St. John Ambulance Association Re-Examination Badge (2) small bronze, both with reverse inscribed, ‘232689 Frederick Jeffery’, with 25 date labels of various sizes, dating from 1921 to 1961, good very fine (lot) £70-90
With St. John Ambulance Association certificate for ‘First Aid to the Injured’ named to Frederick Jeffery, dated Dudley, May 1916; this in glazed frame, 286 x 221mm. With a photograph of the recipient wearing his Silver War Badge. With copied S.W.B. roll extract - badge B131103 being awarded to Corporal Frederick R. J. Jeffery, I.W. & D. Royal Engineers, who enlisted on 30 August 1917 and was discharged due to sickness on 11 December 1918. Plus riband bars.
