Army Meritorious Service Medal, G.V.R., 1st issue (WR-503871 Spr. T. Simons, R.E.) good very fine £100-120

M.S.M. London Gazette 17 June 1919 (Mesopotamia).

Thomas Simons, who was from Swansea, was awarded the M.S.M. for his services with the Inland Water Transport, R.E.; Ian McInnes specifies that it was an award for gallantry.
