44th & 56th Buttons large and small officers’ tunic 1856-1881 to the 56th, large gilt coatee 44th c1830-1855, large gilt tunic 44th c1856-1881, large o/r 56th tunic 1856-1881, ‘large’ officer’s open back silver 56th c1810-1830, similar o/r pewter 56th c1810-1855 still on a section of coatee, a very scarce officer’s silver plated ball pattern to the 2nd Essex Artillery Volunteers and a front section only for an officer’s small silver plated tunic to the West Essex Militia, some loss of gilt to the 44th coatee otherwise very good condition (9) £100-120
