Three: Private J. Pick, 1st European Bengal Fusiliers, late 13th Regiment

Defence of Jellalabad 1842, Flying Victory (Private, 13th [?]), replacement scroll suspension, officially engraved naming in running script; India General Service 1854-95, 1 clasp, Pegu (1st Eur. Bengal Fusrs.); Indian Mutiny 1857-59, 2 clasps, Delhi, Lucknow (1st Eurn. Bengal Fusrs.) the first two with refixed and / or slack suspension, severe contact marks, edge bruising and resultant loss of some naming details, thus fair to fine, the last very fine (3) £600-800

Joseph Pick was embodied in the 13th Regiment of Light Infantry in June 1839 and arrived in India in October of the same year. Subsequently present in the Jellalabad and Cabul operations, he was advanced to Corporal in July 1843 and to Sergeant in October 1844. He returned to the U.K. in the latter month; further research is required to establish the background to his transferral and subsequent career with the 1st European Bengal Fusiliers.
