Charles I (1625-1649), Aberystwyth mint, Halfcrown, mm. book, Aberystwyth horseman, no ground line below, plume in field, rev. shield, large plume above, 15.06g/10h (Bull 486a/3b.2; Morr. C2-3b2; SCBI Brooker 745; N 2327; S 2880). Weak on figure of King (and corresponding on reverse), otherwise better than very fine and very rare £1,800-2,200
