Memorial Plaque (3) (Harold Tiffany; Joseph Rowlinson; Edward Jenkins Menlove) all in card envelopes of issue, good very fine (3) £100-£140
Harold Tiffany was born in Lockwood, Yorkshire, and attested for the Northumberland Fusiliers at Huddersfield, Yorkshire. He served with the 8th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 23 November 1916. He is buried in Grandcourt Road Cemetery, France.
Joseph Rowlinson was born in Knutsford, Cheshire, and attested there for the Cheshire Regiment. He served with the 11th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and died of wounds on 11 October 1916. He is buried in Warloy-Baillon Communal Cemetery, Somme, France.
Edward Rupert Menlow Jenkins Menlove was born in Shropshire and attested for the King’s Royal Rifle Corps in London. He served with the 2nd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 9 September 1916. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France.
