Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Halfcrown, 1644, mm. plume on obv. only, Briot horseman, Oxford plume behind, plain ground below, rev. Declaration, large plume between two small Oxford plumes above, date in large figures and ox below, 14.69g/1h (Bull 614/10; Morr. D-10; SCBI Brooker –; N 2425; S 2965). Weak in parts, otherwise good very fine and toned, rare £600-£800
