An early 20th century Russian silver cigarette case, the front with assorted appliqués, mostly gold, including a maths equation, a monogram, a jumping dog, etc., with diamond highlights, and blue cabochon thumbpiece, the interior with engraved initials and script, by maker ‘AKK’ (in Cyrillic), Moscow, 1908-1917, stamped with the Second Kokoshnik import mark (profile to the right), the Greek letter ‘delta’ indicating assay office as Moscow, dimensions 12 x 7.5cm. £700-£800
