With card forwarding box addressed to ‘H. Sutcliffe, 91 Cleckheaton Rd., Odsal, Bradford, Yorks.’; two identity disks and two badges. Also sold with a quantity of original papers etc., including: R.A.F. Service and Release Book; Air Navigation maps (3)- Canada; ‘Douglas’ combined protractor & parallel rule; semaphore and morse signs booklet; Christmas card from Canada; Travel Permit from Hamilton, Canada; Permission to Enter the U.S.A. whilst on Leave, 1942.
Warrant Officer H. Sutcliffe served in the R.A.F.V.R. from 2.8.1940 until 27.5.1946. His Service Book states he was employed on flying duties for 2 years as a wireless operator / mechanic.
