Abraham Morrison was born at Morille, Co. Donegal, and attested for the Royal Horse Artillery at Exeter on 1 March 1886. He served in China with the 3rd Section, 1-pounder Maxims, from September 1900 to October 1901. Promoted to Corporal in January 1905, he died of blood poisoning in London on 3 November 1905. Sold with copy service papers and a copy of the roll of 3rd Section Maxims, which records one officer and 41 other ranks as being entitled to the China War medal.
