1st (Wiltshire) Company Imperial Yeomanry.

Albert Henry Smelt was born in the Parish of Melksham, Wiltshire and attested for the Imperial Yeomanry at Chippenham on 21 February 1901, aged 20 years 10 months. Serving with the 1st (Wiltshire) Company, 1st Battalion Imperial Yeomanry, Smelt died of enteric fever at Bethlehem on 19 December 1901. Sold with some service details.
